OUR PRODUCTS
- Cross-Sectional Shape: Indian Standard Beams have an I-shaped cross-section, resembling the letter “I” when viewed from the end. The shape consists of a horizontal top flange, a vertical web in the center, and a horizontal bottom flange.
- Materials: ISMBs are typically made from carbon steel or mild steel, with various grades and quality levels available based on the specific engineering requirements.
- Sizes and Dimensions: Indian Standard Beams come in a range of sizes and dimensions. The standard dimensions are given in millimeters and typically include the height of the beam (e.g., 100, 150, 200 mm), the width of the top and bottom flanges, and the thickness of the web and flanges.
- Grades and Designations: ISMBs are designated based on their height and weight per meter. For example, ISMB 100 refers to a beam with a height of 100 mm and a weight of, say, 10.2 kg per meter.
